Watch live cricket free in the Watchcric app

Watchcric is live cricket as an app: open a match and it plays, free, with no account. Put it on the home screen and it opens from its own icon, full screen, with nothing from an app store.

The Watchcric app, explained

Watchcric is a free live cricket app with no account to make: on a phone the site itself installs from the browser, keeps its icon on the home screen and plays the month's matches full screen, and on an Android TV it has an app of its own.

How it installs

There is no APK and nothing in the App Store. Chrome on Android offers Install app from its menu, and Safari on an iPhone has Add to Home Screen; both take three taps and ask no permission.

The month's matches

Six channels for the month, one per fixture: international series and T20 leagues. Each match page gives the dates, the grounds and the start times as published, so the next game is never a search away.

Beyond the phone

The same channels play in a laptop's browser. Android TV and Google TV sets take the Watchcric TV app, installed with a code in Simple Downloader, and a match on the phone can still be cast to a Chromecast or mirrored to an Apple TV. The TV guide walks through each.

Reporting a dead channel

The player is embedded from a third party; Watchcric has no view of whether a stream is live, and between matches the box is black. A channel blank while a match is on can be reported to watchcric@protonmail.com, naming the match.
